Food & Drink at Smålandsgården – Local Ingredients with European Influences

At Smålandsgården, food is an experience in itself. We cook with care and passion, placing local ingredients at the heart of our cuisine while drawing inspiration from European culinary traditions. Our dishes are crafted using the finest seasonal ingredients – fresh vegetables, locally sourced meat, and freshly caught fish – all prepared with a deep love for authenticity and nature.

We collaborate with carefully selected local farms to ensure the highest quality ingredients. Our meat comes from Bosons Gård, Lupiners Gård, and Visingsögrisen, while game meat and beer are sourced from Nääs Gård. We purchase our eggs from Bröderna Hyltbring, and our dairy products come from Strands Gård. Our cheese is supplied by Brostorps Gård, and fresh vegetables are delivered by Ravelsmarks Gård. We always prioritise local suppliers to support small-scale farming and reduce our environmental impact.

On summer evenings, we fire up the grill and invite you to enjoy flavourful barbecue buffets with stunning views over the lake. For those who love Italian flavours, we bake wood-fired pizzas in our stone oven – a crispy and freshly baked delight with carefully selected toppings.

Dinner is served between 18:00 and 21:00. For larger groups, we can arrange service at other times.

Our menu changes with the seasons, but you will always find a variety of options to suit most tastes. We are fully licensed for those who wish to enjoy wine or beer with their meal.
